The most of the days I have online connection, so I don't have problem with my IMAP messages.
But some days like yesterday I moved to outer customer where is no internet connection.

The TDB is everytime cheating me with this magic word: "Synchronization".
I push this button in every day to if I don't have internet then all messages I can see from disk.
So I trust in it.

But yesterday I saw that it is not working good!
Many of messages in the inbox NOT FETCHED locally. This was very disturbing thing (I don't want to use harder words here).

And: when today I tried to do sync, I got also same effect.
Some of the messages are not fetched locally - but never will fetched by TDB.
I tried to use "sync", "offline mode", "pack folders", everything, but I cannot force to TDB fetch these messages.

In Opera Mail Client I have a function:
"Fetch mail(s) for offline work"
When I selected a folder, or lot of messages, and I click to this menu, I will be sure that all of these messages are fetched to local disk.

1.) Can this sync. thing improved/bugfixed in the future?
2.) Or can I get some hand-tool to fetch the messages surely?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. The message A (,B,C,D, many of them) is/are visible in the list, but it/they don't have body.
2. I click on many buttons: Synch dirs/Pack folders/Offline...
3. When I go to offline, these messages are not loaded locally... :-(
This works for me - I think I saw your issue once - but wasn't able to pinpoint what the issue might have been. If it happens a lot to you could you try to pinpoint very precise steps to reproduce ?

Hi!

So:
I go offline. I move to Inbox (IMAP folder).
I move up and down, and I see that mail "a" not downloaded.
It is a big mail (7,1 MB), and TDB say: the body not loaded.

The settings:
a.) Folder synchronized.
b.) Account: download all messages (50> option checked) and nothing to delete.

I go online. I choose offline, but I sync the mails before.

After sync/offline I check this mail: it have not body again...

If I see the inbox file, I do not found this message in it. But I see in message list.
When I see the inbox.msf, the message header is visible:
  (3A0=15b6)(3A1=8a)(3AC=2cad)(389
    ==?iso-8859-2?Q?K=FCld=E9s:_Source30.zip?=)(38A
    =8E26248479AB4D5CA64E1A47CAD6EBC9@enyemgep2)(38D=7018e1)(440=800083)

When I go online and select this message, I can see the content.
I select another message, and go offline.
After this I select the message: it not downloaded, so I don't see the body.

I go online: set label "work" to change index (msf), but nothing changed.

These messages downloads only when I open them and wait for finish, or sometimes this isn't enough: I need to save the attachments to force download.

But this message (today) don't downloading with these tricks. In offline state, when I click on it, TDB show "Download mail" message on statusbar, and then nothing happening.

I tried to rebuild the index, but it is not working for me.

Yesterday I installed gloda-extension and I see this message not indexed.
I cannot force TDB to download this message (with 7 MB attacment).

When I open it online, TDB showing it correctly, but when I move to offline, then TDB says: body not downloaded. It is not in "inbox" file, only in "inbox.msf".

When I open TDB, and select this message, TDB showing a progressbar, but it is finishing too fast. When I clicking to another msg, and select this again, a progressbar shown, but it never finished!

How can I force download or force gloda index?
