User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Thunderbird 3.01 When I delete a mail from a device or another computer, Thunderbird doesn't sync it all the time on all my computers which are all running Thunderbird 3.01. I have double checked and I'm using imap.gmail.com I have reverted back to the Thunderbird 2 and the sync is syncing well across all computers. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download and read new email 2. Go to 2nd computer and look at the same email 3. delete the email on the 1st or 2nd computer and it will not sync the delete on the other computer except the one you directly deleted from. Expected Results: Sync all deletes.
sometimes it will sync, but most of the time it will not. another way i noticed is when you check the same email on both computers, then close thunderbird application on both, and then open it again on one and delete the email. then open the 2nd computer's thunderbird and the email will not disappear when thunderbird checks for new email to download/sync.

Get IMAP log, and see IMAP level flow. > https://wiki.mozilla.org/MailNews:Logging > http://www.mozilla.org/projects/nspr/reference/html/prlog.html#25328 > SET NSPR_LOG_MODULES=timestamp,imap:5 (MS Win example) > Steps to Reproduce: >(snip) > 3. delete the email on the 1st or 2nd computer and it will not sync the delete on the other computer except the one you directly deleted from. After your delete operations, how many non-deleted/active mails remain in the IMAP folder? If ZERO, see Bug 462880. Same problem as Bug 462880?
