I installed firefox 3.6 it shows firefox application too high cpu usage even though I dont have any activity in it. I use profiled firefox and run 2-3 session, each uses cpu 10% even though there is no activity hope you resolve asap thx, the older version 3.0X did not had this issue...

Steps to Reproduce:
1.run firefox in multiple profile

Please try a fresh profile with no changes. Also, is firefox just displaying about:blank, or is there content being shown?

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
