Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
While I have had this problem on other pages, the reported URL is always a problem. The owner has been very cooperative and tried to fix it. She says she has had no other reports but does not write pages with Firefox in mind. Cannot find the problem. Tried at least three times. To buy from this site I have to write to them and describe what I want.
I updated two days ago, but had the same problem before updating as well.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to Url
2.Look in catalog
3.Click link to see more detail (Or any similar link)
Actual Results:
Sends you to Homestead (the ISP) File Not Found page instead of expected link.
Expected Results:
Expected new page showing product details and allowing to choose size and make order.
Gone to expected link.

Several sites have trouble with the way Firefox permits cookies. I have it all set on full permission but get a LOT of "you must permit cookies" requests from sites. I also have to do logins twice on such sites (Example: Ancestry.com, Facebook.com) This is a long-time ongoing problem over at least three builds, including before I started using add-ons.

I opened every item I found on http://stores.renstore.com/Categories.bok, and all pages loaded just fine. Can you please give an exact link that shows this? I would try creating a new profile too. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles

Also, please keep only one issue per bug. you cookie thing is a different issue.

Don't know what to tell you. It NEVER works for me. Every link out of the catalog to the various items goes immediately to Homestead error page.
Sorry about the cookie thing. Thought it was related.

Did you test with a new profile?

Not yet. After I do that, do I add my preferences, bookmarks, etc. back until it breaks again, or just live with the new one?

No, just create a new profile, test, see if it happens. If it doesn't happen, then more your stuff over. If it still happen, let us know.

Okay... That seems to be it alright. I just used the already-made default profile and Renstore works just fine.
NOW what?

Sounds like something in your old profile was interfering. Go to support.mozilla.com, and they can help you move your data from the old profile to the new one.

Thanks, Tyler!
Yup, sounds like some previous add-on is the problem... Maybe I should just go to the old one and start removing stuff I don't use anymore.
Is it possible my "Die Damned Firefox, DIE" problem is related to this? Often I cannot get it turned off, esp. if I keep T-bird running.

Very well could be. Ghostery and a couple other addons cause that issue.

And I HAD Ghostery! That is GOING away! ASAP.
Thanks so much!

Resolving as an extension issue then. You can talk to ghostery about the shutdown issue.

Deleted Ghostery - fixed the non-shutoff. Had another idea I thought might be a clue. Lately I've had to defrag C: drive almost daily to keep from bogging down. Chkdisk says disk Ok. I read the last log and almost all the fragmented files were related to Mozilla, T-bird, or Firefox!
I archive a ton of old mail and bookmarks. At least once the defrag couldn't defrag 3 files and all were T-bird mail files. Am I creating a monster here?

Suze, file fragmentation is a problem with the file system, which is controlled by the OS. It is normal, and shouldn't affect the performance of mozilla products noticeably. (fragmentation is really not as big of an issue as most people think nowadays).
Bugzilla is not a support site, so I recommend you go to support.mozilla.com and ask for some assistance there. Or have a professional clean your computer. Maybe buy a larger hard drive.
