I was using a password in FaceBook. We will say it was "p1". I have a toolbar link that sends me to http://facebook.com/home.php. Previously, I had typed in my username, the "p1" password, Firefox said "do you want me to remember this password?" and I said yes and all was good. Then I changes my password to "p2". It has been a month. I click on that toolbar link and I see my username and password pre-filled out. I click on the login button. It fails. It is submitting "p1" and not "p2". I type in the "p2" password and hit the login button. It does not ask me if I want to store this password and so it is not stored. I can change the password to "p2" before I try hitting the login button. It does not matter. Why does it not see that I am putting in a new password? Why does it not ask me if I want to store the new password? I have seen this work on other sites. What is uyp with FaceBook?
Ray, Do you still see this problem? I haven't.
