Whenever I load a Java applet, the About Firefox menu item disappears from the Firefox menu.  Normally, the About Firefox menu item is the first item in the Firefox menu.  However, after loading a java applet, Preferences is the first item in the Firefox menu, with the About Firefox menu item nowhere to be found.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Launch Firefox.
2.  Go to Firefox menu and notice the About Firefox menu item.
3.  Load a java applet (Runescape, for example).
4.  Go to Firefox menu again and notice the About Firefox menu item has disappeared!
Actual Results:  
The About Firefox menu item disappeared from the Firefox menu.

Expected Results:  
The About Firefox menu item should not disappear from the Firefox menu under any circumstance.

This bug occurs no matter what theme or extension is enabled.  It eve occurs when Firefox is running in Safe Mode.

I tested it with http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/personalapplet.html I couldn't reproduce it at Windows XP, Firefox 3.6.

Reporter, what version of java do you have? Does this still happen?

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
