for example:
"My" add-on FoxyWebSearch is placed in category "Search Tools" (= main category) AND in category "Web Developement". 
But only the category "Web Developement" returns results for search term "FoxyWebSearch".

It is a known problem that searching add-ons in the Search Tools category does not list extensions.
