Example : Two sets that I come across often that I need to switch on for only few pages/occasions are 1) Developer/tweaking extensions 2) Indic related extensions The reason I need to do that are those extensions are sometimes necessary, but otherwise hog the cpu . ( I disable yesscript, webdeveloper toolbar, and a couple others I cant remember, the SunSpider js benchmark tool shows a drop from 12 seconds to 4 seconds) loadinng of other pages are also faster. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) run sunspider js benchmark utility, note time taken 1) install a bunch of developer/tweaking extensions including web-developer toolbar, yesscript(dont forget to add a bunch of rules), etc.. 2) run sunspider js benchmark utility again. Expected Results:

No. Not a duplicate of #259057 . Thats about being able to select multiple extensions/themes/etc and disabling/enabling/updating them. The selection needs to be done every time. In this proposal. the extensions/themes/etc are arranged into folders, thus making the grouping permanent. Making grouping permanant can reduce the number of clicks needed to disable/enable all at once. Also, I believe other people will find other uses for being able to group extensions/themes/etc into folders.

Not going to go this complex, I don't think any but power users really have a need for this. Prime extension material.
