I'm using Minefield hourly build 20100212145610 (build from http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/92a84cecf4f1) and when I minimize Minefield and hover over the taskbar item, a tooltip appears in the upper right corner of my screen and it contains the title of whatever tab was active when I minimized the browser. When I maximize the browser and hover over the taskbar item, no tooltip appears.

IE8 and Chrome 5 both displays a tooltip with the page title directly above the thumbnail at the taskbar. Minefield displays it way up in the upper right hand corner of my desktop.

Ah ok, I see it directly above the thumbnail at the taskbar as you say IE8 and Chrome 5 do.  I'm going to reopen this then.

Maybe an add-on is causing the problem?  BTW, I'm running the same build as you.

I am thinking this might be related to another bug that I filed last week. Bug 545679 shows more thumbnails then there are open tabs, and at the time this was happening, there was 10 thumbnails, but only 4 open tabs.

Bug 545679 is back (at least for me) and I managed to catch this happening while I took this screenshot.

I'm not seeing this behavior with the latest nightly builds, so I'm gonna go ahead and close this out.
