User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 3.0.1 on 10.4.11 & 10.5 Sending any email with an attachment (any size) will send the email but will fail to copy to sent folder. Using Imap mail settings, sending messages using different servers or ISP does not effect the error. This is most annoying as copies of messages cannot be retained. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. compose or forward email 2. add attachment 3 [review]. send message and wait for error message. Expected Results: Save copy of message to sent folder.

Colin, Do you still see this when using version 3.1? Perhaps being stripped off by antivirus or firewall software? (which is less likely on mac than on windows)

Hi Wayne, I have not found this to be happening since I upgraded to the newer versions of thunderbird. My bad, I should have made a comment on this bug sooner that this has resolved with the latest upgrades. Thanks for the reminder. I am using a Mac, and I do not have any antivirus software running except that provided in the basic operating system, so I do not think it was my antivirus stripping off the attachments.
