Build 2000092809MN6
Recommended install
Able to create profile/go through activation/visit some sites
On File/Quit error is displayed:
   Netscp6 caused an error in FULLSOFT.DLL
   Netscp6 will now close
     Try restarting ......
I restarted but am able to reproduce error on subsequent launches/quits

This bug is also related to Thread unavailabilty crash happened in Win98. 
I will closely watch for this crash in rtm builds.

sounds like this might be fixed already, or at least we can't currently
reproduce it, so we're not stopping ship for it.

This bug has not been touched since 2000-10-12, therefore this little reminder.

Does the problem still persist or can this bug report be closed ?

I haven't heard of a crash like this for a while.  Unless someone is able to
reproduce this, we should mark it worksforme.
