On quitting firefox when download manager is downloading, it doesn't show a pop up that files are being downloaded, do you still want to quit firefox.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. download a file via download manager
2. quit firefox
3.
Actual Results:
It doesn't ask for confirmation

Expected Results:
Asked for a confirmation via a pop up
That is by design if the downloads are resume able ( bug 414161 )
I also would like a confirmation or the possibility to change the browsers behaviour in this case. Not all resumeable downloads can be downloaded later, eg. the files can be removed meanwhile. In fact when quitting FF I always think like that: 'oh, my download must have be finished, because firefox would not exit that fast without telling me if the download would still be in progress'. It really feels like a bug...
I think you might be looking for bug 544356.
I, too have this bug.
Firefox should either not close the download manager until all downloads are done (old behavior, preferred!) or simply refuse to close the last window until the user decides to answer YES on a dialog or cancel their downloads manually.

This new behavior seems to believe users won't have any downloads running when they (accidentally) close the last firefox window and doesn't take into account this might be a wrong assumption.
