Details

Right now we use a 2k key. NIST is encouraging moving away from that, but not earlier than 2010 it seems.
At the sec review it was not clear whether there was a recommendation to move away from 2k keys in the next few years or not. A link to an official NIST page would help here.
Not critical for 1.x, but we should resolve for 2.0.
