546919 - Custom rules for managing historic are not saved

By default, in the "Tools \ Option" Menu, in the "Private" Tab the default setting is to keep historic.
I would like to use the "use custom settings for historic" setting.
But when I save (clic OK), if I return to the option pannel, nothing has been saved --> it always the default setting in place

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to Tools \ Option menu (Outil \ options in french)
2.go to the "Private" tab (Vie privée in french)
3.in the lov select "use custom settings for historic" (utiliser paramètres personnalisés pour l'historique in french)
4.clic OK on the bottom
5.go to Tools \ Option menu (Outil \ options in french)
6.go to the "Private" tab (Vie privée in french)
7.the setting is not saved (the default seting "keep historic" is still present)
Actual Results:  
nothing saved

Expected Results:  
settings saved

I use following addins :
weave, xmarks
Maybe they are responsible of this problem

I have tried to inactivate those 2 addins but the problem is still present ...

If you don't change anything when you select the "custom" option in that dialog, you're effectively in the default state, which is remembering the history, that's why when the dialog is opened again it defaults to the remember history option.

Did you actually try to change anything after selecting the custom option?

Indeed, When I modify the time to preserve historic from 90 days to 45 days, if I clic OK, it is saved. If I return to the pannel, I can see the "custom" option.

The name of the "default" option "preserve historic" suggest that historic is completely preserved (illimited time) but it preserves only 90 days (fortunately)
That's why i was confused by the behaviour of the pannel ...
