Hello there,
I use Firefox 3.5.x running under openSUSE Linux 10.3 and wanted to upgrade to 3.6. I am using two monitors in a TwinView-Configuration. There is one TFT 1680x1050 as main screen and another TFT 1280x1024 to the right side of the main screen. The problem is the following:
Firefox itself and for example the extensions forecastfox and reminderfox present little reminder windows that appear in the bottom right corner of the screen (e.g., Firefox shows such a reminder after a download that just has completed). In Firefox 3.5.x these little windows come up in the bottom right corner of the _main_screen_. After an upgrade to 3.6, these little windows appear in the bottom right corner of the _secondary_screen_ even if the Firefox window itself is placed on the main screen. Which means that I hardly see them because they are very far to the right. Something must be different in 3.6 concerning the desktop size.
Another thing is the appearance of these windows. That is obiously no bug, but I liked the old look much better. It would be great if it was possible to configure the look of those reminder windows.
kernel 2.6.22.19-0.3
glibc 2.6.1
KDE 3.5.7
X-Server 7.2.0
NVidia driver 185.18.36
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Firefox 3.6
2.Reminder windows appear in the wrong place
Actual Results:
Reminder windows appear in the bottom right corner of the secondary screen
Expected Results:
Reminder windows appear in the bottom right corner of the primary screen (like in Firefox 3.5.x)

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

Yes, I can still see this issue with 3.6.13 and 4 Beta 8, both in normal mode and in safe mode. Easiest way to reproduce it is to download something. After that, the notification appears in the bottom right corner of the secondary screen (not the primary screen as in 3.5.x).
