At 4.18pm today GMT, I received a "new account" email from mozcrm@staging.chicagotech.org . This needs to be a (valid) email address, probably something like drumbeat@mozilla.org.

The page to change this setting is here:
https://drumbeat.stage.mozilla.com/admin/settings/site-information
* The difficulty is picking a mail address that will get past everyone's spam filters.
* In order to do that, the domain the mail address is at have to be configured correctly.
* There's no obvious choice that will get past everyone's anti-spam, without doing some config of the Mozilla mail servers, or our mail server, or both.
* So, until then, spam filters may catch some mail from the staging server. But only the staging server.
* Jeremy is going to set up the production server correctly.
* Then, we might be able to backport that config to staging, so the two machines work similarly again.
Severity: blocker → critical
Summary: Mail arrives from mozcrm@staging.chicagotech.org → Need to set outgoing mail address to avoid spam filters
Note that when I try to change the outgoing mail address here:
https://drumbeat.stage.mozilla.com/admin/settings/site-information

I cannot commit the changes. I get the following message:

"You are viewing drumbeat.stage.mozilla.com. This form may need to be entered from dev.trellon.org"
Due to the multi site configuration, the correct place to administer this is at: https://drumbeat.stage.mozilla.com/admin/build/domain/conf/2
OK, address updated to matt@mozillafoundation.org. That will do for staging.
