I'M NOT A PROGRAMMER, I'M A USER!!!! Only a USER!!!
For many years I'm using Firefox and Thunderbird in place of Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Outlook, and it was fine until now. The last version of Thunderbird became very slow (and crashes too), I really disliked it. I would like to go back to the older version without loosing anything, through a simple download. I don't want to follow 5 or 10 steps to determine the causes of the problem affecting this last version, I looking for a simple solution, suitable for a user and not for a programmer.
Instead of making another bug report, I'll use this one to report that your Firefox (I'm using version 3.6)is crashing very often. It wasn't like that in the versions before this last one. I can't tell you exactly what I was doing at the moment, but the circumstances are not the same every time, and I do NOT sent reports to Microsoft. I think I have to load an older version for Firefox too.
Please give me some instructions how to solve my problems with Firefox and Thunderbird.

First, only one issue per bug report, especially for totally different products. You can give us stacktraces so we can fix this, but if you want support, you won't get it here. you need to go to support.mozilla.com and ask for help there

For Thunderbird specific issues go to http://en-us.www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/support/.

Going to http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/2.0.0.23/ will let you download the oldest version. If you didn't change any password going back to the old version should be fine and you will not loose anything.
