Hi there
please could you help get live the following start page snippets for Feb. If possible by Feb 24.
(1) Mobile
Mobile: snippet 2:
revision 59 322
This one was already created some weeks ago now. However, I'm not sure on the l10n status? We'd like to get it live in as many places as possible where the mobile page is also localized.
(2)Mozilla Foundation:
Snippet number: 4
Text: Creating an open web is at the heart of the Mozilla project. Tell us why an open web matters to you.
Url placement: on "Tell us why"
URL: http://www.mozilla.org/causes/open?utm_source=gsnippet&utm_content=openweb&utm_campaign=s170210
locales: EN only please
Image attached - openweb.png
(3) Choice Campaign
Snippet number: 1
Text:Choosing your own Web browser is important. You did, now can you help others make their choice.
Url placement: on "help others make their choice."
URL: http://www.opentochoice.org?utm_source=gsnippet&utm_content=choice&utm_campaign=s170210
locales: EN / ES / FR / PL / IT / DE please
Image attached - choice.png
(4) Can we also make a change to the About Mozilla url for the EN-US version only?
Currently the link goes here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/about/
New link is:
http://www.mozilla.org/about/?utm_source=Change to url&utm_content=aboutlink&utm_campaign=s170210
Thanks for your help.

Jane, could you give us a bit more info please concerning point 4:
- does the link you wish to change concern all the above snippets, or only the Choice Campaign one?
- it seems that the new link you sent us is cut up weirdly: could you tell us again what is the new link that we should replace the old one with?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Delphine
sure thing!
(4) David Boswell and John Slater want to change the "About Mozilla" link on the En-US google snippet area for all EN-US snippets going forward to point to the foundation about page.
The link is currently going to: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/about/ -- pointing to the Mozilla.com 'about page'.
I am requesting that this link now point to the 'about page' from the Mozilla Foundation:
http://www.mozilla.org/about/
With tracking the link is actually:
http://www.mozilla.org/about/?utm_source=Change to
url&utm_content=aboutlink&utm_campaign=s170210
Its not actually the snippet -- its the text below the snippet on the start page.
Let me know if its still not clear!

the tracking url you provide for the about page is not correct, that's what Delphine is actually pointing out.

the url works and its follows the way the other snippets work. How should this look? Forgive my ignorance - its the first time I've been asked to change anything other than the snippet.

the url has spaces into it and is on 2 lines, that's not a correct format for a url.

1. Mobile: rev. 62929
2. Foundation: rev. 62937
3. Choice Campaign: rev. 62936

Jane, are you sure that you want to replace snippets 1 for locale by the new choice campaign snippet?
Snippet 1 is the snippet promoting Firefox 3.6 and urging people to upgrade, on the other hand we have 3 snippets promoting addons (snippets 2 and 4 promote AMO and snippet 5 promotes personas). Wouldn't it make more sense to replace snippet 2 or 4 instead so as to keep a diversity of messages? thanks for confirming

Hi Pascal, in my spreadsheet and from the "last" snippet updates -- I have:
Twitter: snippet 1
Store: snippet 2
Personas: snippet 3
Parks: snippet 4
3.6 GA: snippet 5

Then I absolutely agree. Please do replace 2 or 4 as one of the addons ones. Thanks for doing this.
