I was investigating bug 53953 and thus caused Mozilla/Seamonkey to crash (this was using yesterday's Seamonky build). Subsequent attempts to launch always crash before any window appears. I deleted my chrome\user-skins.rdf file (the only one that seemed to be new) and the problem went away. I chose the RDF component because the corruption seemed to be in the .rdf file but the true cause could lie elsewhere. I have a Talkback report re: the startup crash and when I can get to it (I had problems accessing talkback earlier) I'll attach that.

If you could attach the corrupted file and/or link to the talkback report, that would be a big help. As it stands, I'm going to mark this WORKSFORME. Re-open when/if you get that info...
