Opentochoice.org site is ready for translation. This is a Wordpress installation, so we have installed a Wordpress plugin to make translation easy. You can see all the strings available for translation of the theme here http://opentochoice.stage.mozilla.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sitepress-multilingual-cms/menu/string-translation.php#icl-st-toggle-translations Around 50 strings are ready for translation.

To translate the site using the WPML tool, you need to open the page listed above and click "translations" next to the string you want to work on. Scroll down to your locale and enter the translation. Once translated, you need to check "translation complete". You can preview your work at http://opentochoice.stage.mozilla.com/?lang=<locale> where <locale> is a short code (e.g. en, es, fr. (no country party)).

Earlier this week, you may have translated, or have begun translating, a letter from John and Mitchell about the Choice campaign. For the letter translation, you may upload it here: http://opentochoice.stage.mozilla.com/wp-admin/edit.php

It goes without saying, but while translating, please be careful not to delete other locales' translations. And, of course, you should be extra careful not delete the English post. If you need any help, please contact us.
Please don't upload .po files through the Wordpress interface, it's very easy to break stuff this way. Or if you really have to, please ping me on IRC first :)

Please either use the web panel at
http://opentochoice.stage.mozilla.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sitepress-multilingual-cms/menu/string-translation.php or attach the PO file to this bug.

Thanks.
Yo guys,

I have translated the letter and uploaded it to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=546850

In order to avoid any potential problem it might be the best solution for you to send me the content you want to be translated into Bosnian via email. I will then translate it and send it back to you.

What do you think?
Hey Kerim,

It's really pretty straight forward to log in to this page and translate the strings:

http://opentochoice.stage.mozilla.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sitepress-multilingual-cms/menu/string-translation.php#icl-st-toggle-translations

Want to give it a try? You can translate directly in the interface, just click on the "translations" button next to the string. You'll see all the strings on the front page. Once you click "translations", the screen expands and you can enter your translation directly in the field next to "Bosnian".

I can send you a .po file, but we have found that working directly with a .po file outside of the provided interface is a little bit more tricky. I recommend using the interface.

Kerim, in case you want to go with the translation through a PO file, here it is :)

Here's the old version, but Stas says there is an updated one, so it would be easiest if someone would send me those new lines to translate.
Kerim, thanks so much and sorry that you had to wait.

http://opentochoice.org/bs/ is now live! :)

2 strings are missing, could you comment in this bug with translations, please:

1.
"I agree to the terms of the Mozilla privacy policy. Mozilla will only use your email address if you want to hear (1) more about choice and/or (2) more from Mozilla."

(I guess the second sentence will be: "Mozilla će koristiti Vašu email adresu samo ako želite čuti (1) više o izboru i / ili (2) više od Mozille.")

2.
"choose your voice"

(it's for the language chooser).
Dude, you don't need to apologize for anything ;)

1. "Prihvatam uslove Mozillinih pravila privatnosti. Mozilla će koristiti Vašu email adresu samo ako želite čuti (1) više o izboru i/ili (2) više o Mozilli.

2. "izaberite Vaš jezik"

P.S. Could we have "Bosanski" instead of "Bosnian" in the language chooser?

Thanks in advance.
All done. Thanks Kerim!
