User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/4.0.249.89 Safari/532.5 Build Identifier: Impossible to determine. Upon attempt to start Firefox, I get the following error message: "The application or DLL C:Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." This occurred immediately after an update was installed. I don't know for sure but I think it was version 3.6. In my opinion, Mozilla should ask user for permission to install updates. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Any attempt to start Firefox. 2. 3. Actual Results: Actual results are the error message described above. Expected Results: Opened in the normal manner, which it did before the update.
a quote from RS: >Please attach the last-update.log .... along with the updates.xml >file. If you've installed under program files these will typically be located >under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\ and the last-update.log >is inside the updates directory. > >The updates.xml may also be located in your installation directory and the >last-update.log is inside the updates directory.
