Sometimes when I open another window, sometimes it says that it's not responding for a few seconds. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Close firefox window. 2. Double-click firefox icon. It should say that firefox is running. 3. Open taskmanger and click end process for firefox.exe. Actual Results: It still says that the firefox is running when it's not, unless I restart the computer. Expected Results: It should have stopped already. None at the moment.

Do you have ghostery installed? does this happen in safe mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
(In reply to comment #2) > Do you have ghostery installed? does this happen in safe mode? > http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode What is ghostery? There is no problem in safe mode.
Ghostery is an addon that has been causing this issue lately. If this doesn't happen in safe mode, then it is one of your extensions. Try disabling them, and, when you find the problem one, report to the extension developer.

I've undid safe mode for firefox. It should be fine for now. Thanks!

Not fixed, since no patch was checked in. INVALID, as this is not a firefox bug.

On second thought, as soon I said that yesterday, it happened again. Once I put firefox in safe mode, it was fine for a few minutes.

If it works fine in safe mode, it is an extension that is causing this. support.mozilla.com can help you with that. There was no patch checked in, so it can't be FIXED. It's INVALID, as it isn't a firefox bug since it works in safe mode.
