I'd like to request assignment of the review permissions for Croatian [hr] localization of knowledge base. My username is [e-mail]

For what is worth, I already have SVN (bug 531404) and HG (bug 546335) commit access.

permission denied as by now i had so many times asked, among others, sale for any possible help with KB but always had been denied and since the fact that there were recent issues.

Hi,

it appears that Edo took my answer - which stated that I don't have enough time for any significant contribution to KB - a bit to personally. As far as "recent issues" are concerned, I really don't have a clue what he's talking about.

Since I don't have time to play his little games, I'm closing this bug with hope that Edo will eventually correct all the grammar errors that flooded the knowledge base.

i didnt take anything personally. you didnt bother to say i will try to find time. but strict to the point no as answer. as for issues, to be clear, the issue i spoked with TMZ about and same issue TMZ spoke with ivoks about. I do not play games, my friend, as you already clearly stated to TMZ you wont deal with KB. Today, as you can check in your ubuntu logs, you said to me once again you dont have time. I went out, came back, and saw you filed for permissions. So it is you whos playing and its extremely dissapointing that only croatians do have such discussion. As for me personally, it is EXTREMELY dissapointing, that you are working on mozillas firefox for the sake of ubuntu distro. not to be part of mozilla community but because mozilla has easiest translation system.

so all in all,

i am ready to step down in case anyone out there thinks sale has right in this case because i cant find not one reason to say "ok, he wants to help me after all and work on kb". i dont trust you. and as i said, am ready to step down if i am thinking about this wrong...

If you want to help improve grammar on Croatian KB articles on SUMO, maybe you could, from time to time, check and correct them, and I'm sure there'll be no problem for edo to review and approve those changes.

Hi Milos,

sure, I'll do that as soon as I free up my schedule. After all, I didn't plan to correct those mistakes right away, I just wanted to have all the necessary permissions for the future.

Edo's comment that I'm contributing to Firefox translation just because of Ubuntu is complete nonsense as I, with help of couple of other volunteers, wanted to provide localized Firefox for all users regardless to the OS.

Beside that, I also maintain Croatian translation of Firefox homepage which has nothing to do with Ubuntu or Ubuntu users. Also, I recently translated browser ballot template which will be seen only by Windows users, so the only dissapointing thing in this whole story is the fact that Edo, for some reason, is trying to make me look like a bad guy.

Personally, I don't have anything against Edo to handle the translation od KB. Apart from grammar errors I noticed in couple of articles, I think he's doing a great job.

Anyway, I don't want to go on with this discussion and continue to spam this bug report.

That's great news to hear Sasa. I'm not sure if you're familiar with SUMO KB system, but everyone can make changes to every article out there. Once the changes are saved, changed article is transfered to locale leader's queue for approval. That means that you can, even as regular(registered) user change what you think should be changed, and then let edo approve your changes.

BTW, glad to hear that another community from Balkans is making their way up.

Sale, I wont discuss this issue in here. As for complete nonsense, i can find a log from YOUR ubuntu server where you usually hang with YOUR question to one of your members there ABOUT has he finnaly got rid of firefox. thats one example. translation or tone variables cant make different translation. OR another example, ivoks words "guys from ubuntu (including myself) like less and less firefox".. OR words "once ubuntu stops using firefox in standard distro we will stop working"..OR words "we are doing translations on firefox via mozilla system because it is easiest to translate".. I could go on and on..With examples...that can be backed up from ubuntu logs..But i wont. 

SO, give me a f.....g break. Here is what we will do... Chris, i am releasing my locale leader privileges and passing them to mr.sale. "good guy" and then we will see how much is he going to make it. I just cant function this way. One thing he is saying outside of this space. Another thing is in here.

When i came on, kb was on zero.. I had asked many times and every time was strict no. y/day was same. I asked you said no. Now you selling the "am wictim" story..give me a f-----g break..

Can you guys please refrain from spamming this bug report even more with personal accusations etc. These belong to a private discussion forum or IM.
