This bug tracks the localization of the browserchoice.mozilla.com
website, a.k.a. the 'Learn More' page of the European Browser Ballot campaign,
into Frisian.

Please see bug 546131 and https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Browserchoice for
details and instructions.

Frisian is not part of the initial roll-out of the ballot update by Microsoft, but we'd still like to provide the best experience for Frisian-speaking users out there.

We would like to launch the Frisian version of browserchoice.mozilla.com shortly after the ballot update goes live in all countries of the EU. That's why I'd like to ask you to finish your translation by Wednesday, March 10.

Translation is finalized for Frisian (fy-NL) by uploading the messages.po into verbatim.

Wim, I think you should have permissions to commit from Verbatim to SVN. Want to give it a try? Just go to http://localize.mozilla.org/verbatim/fy/browserchoice/LC_MESSAGES/edit.html and click "Commit to VCS". 

Note, however, that this must be the messages.po file inside the LC_MESSAGES directory. I think you might have uploaded another one in the directory higher above, too? Can I delete the one in here http://localize.mozilla.org/verbatim/fy/browserchoice/edit.html ?

I deleted the wrong one.

Somehow can't Commit to VCS:
Failed to commit file.......LC_MESSAGES/messages.po' is out of date 

What to do?

That's because the revision of the file is newer in SVN that it is in Verbatim. There might have been a small string update 1-2 weeks ago which has not yet been synced in Verbatim. Can you click "Update all from VCS" here: http://localize.mozilla.org/verbatim/fy/browserchoice/LC_MESSAGES/ ?

Forgot to mention this: Verbatim will merge any updates with your translation, so you're not risking losing any of it :)
