In a comment on https://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Configure+an+Account, a user requested instructions on assigning an SMTP server to an account AFTER the account has been created (as opposed to during account creation).
I don't think we need a separate article - if you search "SMTP" on the support site, the first article in the search results ("Unable to authenticate to SMTP server") describes how to manually modify the SMTP server setting.
