User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.10
Build Identifier: Mozilla Firefox 3.5.8
After restarting laptop for updates, Firefox would not open a browser. I downloaded 3.6 upgrade, tried to install, but get msg that says close currently running program. Even Control Alt Delete shows nothing running for Firefox. I tried to uninstall program, but get the same msg to first shut down. There's no browser open, can't upgrade, can't uninstall. Closing all programs and shutting down computer doesn't help. I continue to get the same msg to close it down. It's like it's invisible, and totally useless.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Either try to uninstall Firefox or upgrade to 3.6
2.Msg says program is running, need to exit to proceed
3.Nothing shows program is running
Actual Results:
nothing, that's the problem
Expected Results:
program should close so I can upgrade or uninstall it
all other program on my computer are working fine
