Details

In the near future (but not before Friday, March 5, as things stand now) we'll be releasing the initial release of the Jetpack SDK, which is made from the "reboot" codebase we've developed to incubate Jetpack for eventual integration into Firefox. The SDK is a tarball that you download and install on your computer, then use to build modular extensions. In this initial version, it only has a command-line interface, and it creates traditional extension packages (XPIs) that users then upload to AMO, although we are also working on a web-based IDE called FlightDeck (built on top of the SDK) and a new package format (name TBD) to make it as easy to develop Jetpack-based extensions as it was with the prototype. The SDK release is a significant shift in direction from the prototype that we'll need to explain clearly in the relevant marketing materials (blog post, wiki pages, etc.). However, the SDK itself doesn't contain much in the way of visual elements (except for the built-in documentation), and it's not clear that there's anything we need to change about the visual design of the website and the iconography/branding we use for the project as a whole. Nevertheless, I'm filing this bug so the relevant folks are aware and can make that determination.
Logotype was created for this, unsure of additional materials. If anything else needs additional branding/design, please link to it in here. Thanks.
