This bug will track progress of opentochoice.org's content translation into German. For details, please see bug 546713 comment 20.

I created the following spreadsheet to track progress of the content translation:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tl82CrQAScbQcFLEA7FhnMQ&output=html

Please log in to the production site's admin panel at https://opentochoice.org/wp-admin/edit.php and start translating by clicking the small "+" signs next to each post. Please _do not_ assign any categories nor tags for now.

This update has about 1,500 words of new content. Please let us know if you think you will be able to work on it before Tuesday, March 2.

Feel free to comment in this bug anytime you finish working on a post. I'll update the spreadsheet then.

Thanks!
I'd like to do that, but unfortunately, my login doesn't work. I've asked Pascal for help in Bug 548873.
Looks like Pascal was able to help you out? Let me know if it still doesn't work, please.
Thanks to Pascal, my login is working again. The translation has started, we
hope to finish it until March 2.

The page "Someone right now is wondering, “what’s this browser screen?”" is
done, but needs proofreading.
The same now applies to the page "Launching opentochoice.org"
And to "Flyer".
And to "Poster"
And to "Get Involved"
And to "Overview of Browsers"
And to "Why Choosing your Browser is Important"
And now, at last, it applies to "The EC Agreement and the Browser Choice screen" as well.

I'm now waiting for proofreading. ;-)
I've proofreaded all translated articles I found (all posts expect the first post from Mike Lilly should have a new revision from me).

Michael, that was an awesome huge effort from you!
"The majority of Europeans are unaware of the Browser Choice screen" has been done, too. And I see, there's still more to come …
"Contact us" is done.
And so is "Learn more about Mozilla". Proofreading is welcome.

Staś, what are these "List of [...]" pages in the spreadsheet supposed to be?
Michael, this is awesome work!

These will be shown in the sidebar of the "Get Involved" and "Press centre" sections. Still not sure why some content is doubled, I'm asking right now. But feel free to start working on this too, if you have a moment to spare.

Ok, now everything should be done, unless I missed something.
"Learn more about Mozilla", "Contact us", "(Press centre>blog post>RHC>1)WIP", "(Press centre>landing page>RHC>4)WIP", "(Press centre>landing page>RHC>1)WIP", "(Press centre>landing page>RHC>2)WIP", "(Get involved>blog post>RHC>1)WIP", "(Get involved>landing page>RHC>2)WIP", "(Get involved>landing page>RHC>1)WIP", "The majority of Europeans are unaware of the Browser Choice screen" proofreaded.

I didn't find any not translated article (with content).

1 question:

Why do have the links in page "(Press centre&gt;landing page&gt;RHC&gt;4)WIP" links in it? E.g. "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_web_browsers#Graphical_Timeline" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_web_browsers#Graphical_Timeline</a>".

Shouldn't that be somewhat like "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_web_browsers#Graphical_Timeline" target="_blank">Browser-Zeitlinie</a>"?
I just translated "add a banner to your blog".
I've another question to the folloging string of "add a banner to your blog":

&lt;a href='<a href="http://opentochoice.org/?from=sfx&amp;amp;uid=0&amp;amp;t=645">http://opentochoice.org?from=sfx&amp;amp;uid=0&amp;amp;t=645</a>'&gt;&lt;img src='<a href="http://images.spreadfirefox.com/otc/125x125.png"><img class="what" src="http://images.spreadfirefox.com/otc/125x125.png" alt="" /></a>' alt='Wählen Sie klug' border='0' /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;

I thought this full string should be copyable for the users to insert it in their web page. But there is a "real image" in this string which HTML source code isn't copyable and errors like "&amp;amp;" (double-encoding of "&") make the whole string useless. Is this string what it is intentionally?

Second issue:
Michael told me that some cells in http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tl82CrQAScbQcFLEA7FhnMQ&output=html for German (de) are still white but they are already translated.
"List of downloadable reference materials (sidebar)" is translated, too.
However, I can't find "List of assets (sidebar)".

Ah, It was renamed to "Recently published assets". Updated the spreadsheet, thanks.
The posters and flyers have been added.
[de] is all green! :)
