Details

This is reproduceable using the Windows PR3 candidate build. Not sure if using
"." in a directory path is causing the problem.

Using ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/windows/32bit/x86/2000-09-30-09-MN6/

1. In the Setup Type dialog, I changed the destination directory to
d:\sea9.30.09 and clicked OK.
2. Got error 123: "Could not determine available disk space for d:\sea9.30.09."
(I have 6 Gigabytes free on this disk).
3. Clicked OK.
4. Got Disk Space Check dialog: "Insufficient disk space."
5. Clicked OK.
6. Setup Type dialog displayed again. Destination directory unchanged (set to
d:\sea9.30.09).
7. Clicked OK.
8. Got error 123 message again.
9. Clicked OK.
This time the installer advances to the next screen "Download Options" and I'm
able to continue successfully with the installation.

Robin, can you try without the "."? You don't need to actually install it, just
see if the error message shows up without using ".".
Priority: P3 → P4
Using Netscape 6 RTM build (from the CD): No error message appears when I don't
use "." in the installation directory name.
cant see why this is ns confidential. fixing.

there's more activity in bug 72742. I'm duping this bug to that.
