Hi there, Last week we have received some push back on the Firefox logo being present on the OTC website. After talks with the EU team, John Slater and CBeard - we would like to try and remove the Fx logo before version 1.0 goes live. I'm not sure if this is at all possible. The replacement would include: * Keep "Brought to you by" as is. * Replace "Mozilla Firefox" wordmark and logo with the 'mozilla" wordmark - see attached. * Underneath the newly replaced wordmark, please add the text (in light grey): a non-profit organization and developer of Firefox. learn more. * The "Firefox" text should be in the same color as the mozilla red wordmark. * "learn more" should be a link to the 'about mozilla' page on the OTC page directly (not sure what the url for this is yet). NB: Please can you add to stage for sign off. I need to have cbeard review this change. thanks for all your help, and sorry for this last moment, but very important change. Kindest Jane PS: there is a basic type of look and feel mock up in the second attachment for reference.

Hello Jane, the mock up you attached is based on the first set of creatives that Sean provided, but the OTC site is launching with the new design for the "brought to you by" section. I've attached the last design that is already posted on stage, what should we do? trash this markup and create a new one to match yours? or implement the changes on the current version of html?
Hi Juan Sorry about this change. It was deemed important to clarify who is providing the OTC information. I'd really like to see if it can go into the box if possible as this is more consistent. Can we try that please? Not sure on the font colors now. Instead of grey - we could try the brown you are using for the "brought to you by" piece or or the darker grey used for the current little mozilla font in the wordmark.

Here's a version of the Mozilla logo with the dinosaur head if you'd like to use that.
Reopening bug because the Mozilla wordmark is looking a bit too orange-y on the staging site. Maybe the colors were tweaked somewhere in the uploading process? Either way, I just attached a black wordmark with the dinosaur head which I'd suggest using if the space allows.

Slater -- please can you also add your feedback :)
Ok, I have exported the PNG again, please check if the wordmark looks better, maybe the colored background gives a different sensation of the red color. Pending for feedback on the dinosaur head thing.
My 2 cents: - it looks a little funny having the "Brought to you by" outside the box. I know it was that way when we had the Firefox logo in there and then it looked ok, but now it seems unbalanced to me. What if we had "Brought to you by" inside instead? - I think we could make the Mozilla wordmark a little smaller to fit it all in (I wouldn't want the size of the box to grow too much. I also think we can do without the dino here. Otherwise, looks good!
Ok, please have Sean or another designer to provide the creative as you want it and I'll proceed with the change based on that.
Hey Juan. Is there anyone on your team who could make this fix? It feels pretty small, and any design resources we could muster up would likely take longer to get going. If not, we can figure something out, but I wanted to check with you guys first.
Hey John, We were able to grab someone running out the door! ;) We'll update this bug once the change is checked in and resolved.
Awesome, thanks!!
John, Jane -- Are you OK if we do this shortly after 1.0? I set P1 for this bug because I felt we should change Firefox to Mozilla. Now that was done, I feel like we could discuss exact styling tomorrow. We could use Zemoga team's time in other bugs :) What say you? Can we move this down to P2 ("nice to have, but can miss 1.0")? --stas
John, Please find attached a mockup considering the comments but using the dino logo for approval. Let me know if this works. However, I would also recommend/ask if this can be implemented tomorrow first thing EST as there is always a risk with adding something like this that goes pretty much across sections at this point. Thanks
Hi Carlos. For a variety of reasons (it's a long & complicated story) we need to use the Mozilla wordmark instead of the dino on this promo. So, would you guys be able to take another crack at it tomorrow? I definitely like the look of putting everything inside the box. I think if the header stayed the same brown color as the other headers, and if we used the red Mozilla wordmark, we should be in great shape. Per Stas' question in comment #15, we're completely fine with launching the 1.0 version and then fixing the promo after it's gone live. Agreed that it's no longer a P1. Apologies for all the confusion and circling around on this...we really appreciate the help!

Hi All, Sorry to add an additional request on this but could we make sure we are using the UK english spelling for 'organisation'? i.e. organisation not organization. Thanks Francois
Alright guys, comments considered on this version that is being implemented by UI. We'll resolve once completed. Thanks
The version in comment #20 looks good to me. Only tweak: could you add the >> that we use after the other CTA links after "learn more" (instead of the ...). Thanks!!
(In reply to comment #19) > Sorry to add an additional request on this but could we make sure we are using > the UK english spelling for 'organisation'? i.e. organisation not organization. This will break localizations, so please assign to me when resolved in EN, I'll update the translations. (In reply to comment #21) > The version in comment #20 looks good to me. Hi Stephen, I didn't mark it as resolved because Stas asked for the bug to be assigned to him, he has to do something with the i10n fix that Francois reported on comment #19.

Ah, yes, that's right; still, I noticed you didn't have the permissions, so you will now, for future bugs. Enjoy! :-)

I'll update the translations when we push live (spun off bug 550094 for that).
