User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 Build Identifier: 1.0b2pre (latest-comm-1.9.1/macosx-xpi) Import ics fails in iCal, error message: "This calendar file is unreadable. No events have been added to your iCal calendar." Solution: Remove ^M in the ics file. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In Thunderbird, go to Menu Event& Tasks -> Export 2. Select calendar 3. Type file name + Select ics format 4. in iCal Menu File->Import 5. Select: Import an iCal file 6. Choose the file created above + Click Import

The ^M at the end of the line is a windows newline character. This is totally valid per rfc5545. Maybe some other aspect of it is broken. Please try validating the file at: http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv/
