In this way there was no need to remember the web pages browsed. On updating to new version of Firefox (3.5.8), I have found that I no longer can restore the previously opened web pages. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature that has been removed in this version but I would really like to see it back on all versions of Firefox Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type all the web pages again 2. 3. Actual Results: I could recall some pages but for some it was hard to find. Expected Results: should have opened all the tabs that I was viewing before the system crashed.

This feature was definitely not removed, so this would be a bug. There is a chance that an add-on is misbehaving or something (likely an add-on) has flipped the crash recovery preference. You can try disabling all addons (restarting to make sure they're disabled) and forcing a "crash" (just kill the process from task manager). Also make sure that browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash is true (you can check this via about:config).

Tried what you instructed but does not work..I had only 1 add on..i.e. forecastbar enhanced..but did not work even after disabling it..just counting my chances for a Mozilla T-Shirt...LOL
