Data URIs for reftest snapshot are in attached log.  Testcase is a slightly darker shade of lime than the reference case, basically.

Confirmed the failure locally by inspection -- load testcase, wait ~10 seconds, and compare vs. lime.svg -- the testcase will be a tad darker. (because we're "transitioning" to red, for some reason)

It looks like bug 537139 fixed some instances of SMIL/CSS-transitions interaction[1], but not all instances.  I'm going to reopen that bug and mark this test as random for now.

[1] i.e. it fixed the initial rendering of this reftest, so that it initially loads as lime instead of as red

BTW: the followup patch in bug 537139 (currently awaiting review) fixes this failure.

I just landed the followup in bug 537139 and re-enabled this test.
 --> FIXED
