When I log into Facebook chat is not working.
I can only use chat when I pop out chat (option on the left "go online"
But then it can sometimes give me an error that i cant login into chat.
This happens only on alpha 2 preview build. On 3.7a3pre and a2pre works.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to www.facebook.com
2.Check to see if you're logged in into chat.
3.You should not see chat at the bottom, the only way you can go is to click on the left side "go online" which pops out chat.
Actual Results:  
I couldn't see chat at the bottom.

Expected Results:  
Chat should be there.

No add-ons installed or themes. Fresh installation.

Oskar, which older versions of firefox are affected too? Can you reproduce it with 3.6 and 3.5?

I had Firefox 3.6 and chat was working. Then I tried 3.7a2pre and it was working.
But when 3.7 alpha 2 developer preview came out, chat is not working.
Like I said on 3.7a3pre works too, only developer preview of alpha 2 is not showing chat.
I also tried (using now) a different computer and it runs on Windows XP and still same thing with developer preview. 
Firefox 3.6 is installed as default browser and chat works on that version.

You may see that I'm using addons, but I tried without them, it also doesn't work.

Confirmed with the latest developer preview on OS X. I will give it a check.

As it turns out Facebook does a user agent sniffing and the container for the chat box is not served for the developer preview. Lets dupe it to bug 497384.
