Details
The UI most likely needs to be hand-tested, on the device.
The network, database, and crypto code can be unit tested, though the test code should probably be run in the simulator, since the iPhone has a different endianess than the Mac.
This means either a special test framework, or figuring out how to integrate XCode projects with BuildBot.

The Firefox Home project has been retired, and Mozilla will no longer invest in future work on this project [1]. All bugs related to Firefox Home are being mass resolved.
For those interested in continuing work on this app, the source code for Firefox Home is available on Github [2].
