I'm surprised we don't have a bug for this yet, if I missed it please mark accordingly. We want to be providing options for importing/exporting files (i.e only ranges, certain file specific ops like number of digits for the year in csv export).

We need to provide some sort of framework for importers/exporters to allow them to specify custom options and also we need a common set of options that will most likely apply to many importers/exporters.

Related to this bug is bug 167255, which provides a wizard. I'm not sure a wizard is the best thing, but at least dialog would be good.
Still nobody for this one???  My calendar is basically becoming unusable because of this.  I have to do several work arounds to archive, isolate events and also use it the record of my activities.
Lets keep the dialog bug.
