It does not appear as an item in the listing. In order to restore the global inbox one has to show the sidebar for smart folders and select it there. This can confuse an new user greatly. The global inbox smart folder should be shown at the top the pull down list. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Have multiple inboxes on different email accounts 2.use the folder location pull down menu item to select an individual account inbox 3.try to restore global inbox view using the location pull down menu Actual Results: trying to restore global inbox view using the location pull down menu only is impossible. Expected Results: The global inbox smart folder should be shown at the top the pull down list. The global inbox smart folder should be shown at the top the pull down list of the folder location pull down menu item list.
Note that this is not necessarily a very common case: most people do not customize their toolbars to include the folder location combo-box. I think Severity might justifiably be set to Minor for that. But yes, I do see this with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:220.127.116.11) Gecko/20100227 Lightning/1.0b1 Thunderbird/3.0.3 ID:20100227143138. (I strongly doubt this is platform-specific.)
The global inbox is the "Local folders" account. It is in the list, just not on the top. That deferred (hidden) accounts actually appear in the list is bug 529299. But selecting them does nothing (at least today). So maybe I do not understand the bug report. Guy, could you please update it?
