Can people in RelEng be given (r-o?) access to munin graphs for systems we care about the most? For example: graphserver hg.m.o ftp.m.o tinderbox server ESXservers hosting RelEng VMs

Aside from being in MPT, there's no access control on munin. I think what you're actually asking is: Can we set up monitoring for munin on these hosts? I don't have access to the boxes controlled by RelEng, but if munin-node were set up on them, with access allowed from 10.2.10.168, I can add them to the config. Give me a full list of the RelEng hosts you want added and I'll put them in.
(In reply to comment #1) > I think what you're actually asking is: Can we set up monitoring for munin on > these hosts? Right! All the machines John's asking about are administered by IT actually, > graphserver aka graphs.m.o > hg.m.o actually several web heads and a box for ssh push > ftp.m.o > tinderbox server aka tinderbox.m.o > ESXservers hosting RelEng VMs aka bm-vmwareNN.build.mozilla.org I'm not sure the last one is really necessary. The VI Center has extensive monitoring already, and munin may be non-trivial on ESX anyway.
http://munin.mozilla.org/munin/build/dm-graphs01.mozilla.org/index.html Graphserver is up, I'll get the rest monitored soon.
Summary: RelEng access to munin? → Add RelEng hosts to munin?

Both are in Munin now under the Build header. > > ftp.m.o this, I believe, is dm-ftp01. The VI Center has extensive > monitoring already, and munin may be non-trivial on ESX anyway. Would like to avoid doing this on ESX. It is indeed non-trivial and ESX does already have its own graphing abilities.
