The summary is kind of self-explanatory. 

On certain sites I visit - not all of them and not every time I visit them - Firefox renders a black vertical strip that blinks all the time providing an awful browsing experience. Other browsers, including Firefox based browser Flock, render the same sites at  correctly, 

This bug appeared after version 3.5.5. and was never actually corrected, although it got less frequent with more recent versions.

Reproducible: Sometimes
This bug also appears in Firefox 3.6.3 on Mandriva Linux.

I can confirm the problem still happens on Ubuntu Lucid Firefox 3.6.3. I posted two screenshots of this bug at http://alexiskauffmann.multiply.com/photos/album/195/Bug_no_Firefox
The problem are still there in 3.6.8 on Mandriva Linux
