Attached file OTC FAQ - March 9
Hi there please can you help me add the OTC FAQ to the OTC on the EN site here: http://opentochoice.org/en/category/press-centre/ The FAQ should live under the header (on the right hand side): reference materials It is fine to be added to the bottom of the list in this section e.g. on the next line under "List of Web browsers NOT on the Browser Choice screen" Please use the text: Frequently asked questions The PDF to link to is attached thank you for your help. Jane
The content can be added through the WP admin panel. I started a new draft and set the "Press Center" category (admin panel, right sidebar, bottom) https://opentochoice.org/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=3413&message=10 Hopefully that helps get the content rolling for you. CC'ing Javier from Zemoga, to add "FAQ" to the header navigation. (In reply to comment #0) > Please use the text: > Frequently asked questions Use this where? If you were thinking in the header navigation, I don't think it will fit, so I recommend "FAQ", it's commonly known and short.
Thanks Alex, and yes: FAQ will be fine. Just to be clear this only needs to be a new item under the collection of "reference materials" on the right hand side. This does not need to be added to the *top* header navigation, as note this is a simple addition to the content on the right hand side under "reference materials". [Just wanted to be clear :)]

[Just wanted to be clear :)] Ah, ok, thanks that's clear now. Javier, what's the best way to add content to this list?
Priority: -- → P1
Since it is going to be placed on the right bar, the file can be uploaded using: https://opentochoice.org/wp-admin/media-new.php And then the item should be added to the list by editing the post that can be located using this URL: https://opentochoice.org/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=555
Ahh, thanks Javier, much clearer. Jane, apparently I misunderstood this bug, so ignore my comments :) "Frequently Asked Questions" is fine, no need for FAQ You can upload the PDF, instead of making it an actual web page, per comment #4 Or, if you want an actual web page, we can do that too
hey - great on "Frequently Asked Questions" :) No need to create a special page at this point. I did just try to upload the PDF (which is attached in this bug) to the media uploader and get an "IO" error? :/ Any ideas how I can resolve that please? thanks guys.
Hello Jane, I was able to upload the file, the URL for it is: http://opentochoice.org/opentochoice_content/uploads/2010/03/OTC_FAQ_March9_2010.pdf Apparently the Flash uploader is not working with the current server configuration so you need to switch to "Browser uploader" in order to get the files into the server.
Thank you Javier. :) hey, this is a dumb question -- but do you have the wordpress url for the "reference materials" section? I'm having trouble finding it in the wordpress maze.. :/ thank you!
You are welcome Jane :) The list of reference materials is included in this post: https://opentochoice.org/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=555
Excellent - thank you all so much! all sorted. :) Closing out!
