If you trigger a crash manually with the crashme advanced extension no sessionstore.js is written. At some point it works after deletion of the compreg.dat file.

With the attached profile run the following steps:
1. Start Firefox and open a couple of tabs/windows.
2. Wait a bit like 1 minute.
3. Go to "Tools | Crash me!" and select one entry.

The browser will crash but no sessionstore.js file is created.
Works for me using the same build on Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit.

Henrik, can you confirm two things:
1. Have you gone to Preferences > General > Startup > "When Firefox Starts" == "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
2. Can you reproduce this behaviour on Windows and Linux or is this Mac only?
Clearing old bug mail, and cannot reproduce anymore. Closing as WFM.
