It's better to have all the bugs ironed out *before* we say "go to build" for a real release.

A lot's changed since 1.0.0, and my changes have mirrored trunk rather than the relbranch.  A test release in staging will help catch many of the potential issues before we actually do the 1.0.1 release.

I think I've got things ironed out with the latest patches.
I am wondering if we want a different xulrunner deb name... currently it'll be

fennec_1.0.1_armel.deb
xulrunner_1.9.2.1+rc1_armel.deb
