Hi,
My computer is running on windows Vista sp2 64 bits.
Downloads in Firefox seem to run in two steps:
1-transfer
2-unknown step (includes scanning)
Some of my downloads reach 100% of file transfer but then I get an error message "unable to read source file". This is strange as the download process had already reached the 100% for the fiel transfer.
After this happened, I was able to download the file from another browser (IE8) without closing my user session of restarting the PC.
The solution in firefox is to close and reopen the browser. Closing firefox is confured to delete all history (cookies, files,... everything) automatically.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
I have tried to find a way to reproduce the problem but haven't found any step-by-step process.
1/ This morning I received an e-mail about a service pack for one of my applications. I clicked the link in my e-mail to http://www.softmaker.com/english/servofw10_en.htm . Firefox opened for the first time of the day. The file had a size of 10 MB.
2/ Previously, the problem happened on the thrid or fourth download. Closing all firefox windows and reopening a new firefox session would be a workaround.
As specified above, I had the problem without performing any previous download. I don't consider it to be a cache problem.
The problem comes unexpected, and you have to wait for the 100% for a file transfer to get it.
I thought the bug had vanished with an update but the problem is still there.
Actual Results:
Download failed after the file hasn't downlaod at 100%.

Expected Results:
Successful downloads.
Actual Results:
Download failed after the file download reached the 100%.
