Details
If you are viewing getpersonas.com via http and login, you are redirected back to httpS. This means you don't pull static content via our CDN, causing the site to be slow and take up bandwidth from our servers. We should redirect back to http if that's how you were viewing the site.

No, as that would mean the login cookies would be sent over HTTP. Recommend WONTFIX.

Isn't this site going away and amo is taking it's place? AMO is all https for the same reason, split sites are dangerous unless they are handled correctly.

Yeah, the site is going away. Main reason for filing this was due to a poor user experience. The site is much slower over https due to all content being served via our webservers.
