User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Some charts in this gallery sport iFrames if they are too big to show fully: http://www.chartle.net/gallery Scrollbars and scrolling in general of these iFrames does not work. The scrollbars seem frozen. Reproducible: Always
i can confirm that scrolling using the horizontal scrollbar is broken on Fx 3.6.0. but it does work using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.2.3pre) Gecko/20100316 Namoroka/3.6.3pre so chances are good this is fixed with Fx 3.6.2. @Dieter: can you please re-check when 3.6.2. update is available (expected on end of march) and give feedback?
I will comment my experiences once 3.6.2 is out. The vertical scrollbar is also somewhat broken. It isn't fully frozen (like the horizontal one) - I can still grab it and move it. What I cannot do though is click on the empty space below the scrollbar handle and expect the handle to jump there.
I find that if I add scrolling="yes" it works but adds both scrollbars and looks ugly to have if it's not neccessary, but if I tell it to use "auto" then it doesnt show scrollbars at all... even though there is more vertical content than fits into the iframe. this has only occured recently...
I just installed 3.6.2 and the bug is gone. Another annoying this is still that when you open the java applet (http://www.chartle.net/create) it is first displayed as a black rectangle which is esthetically not very pleasing. Other browsers and former versions of Firefox (3.5) did display the applet as white rectangle for the first 1-2 sec.
This is likely a duplicate of Bug 511075.
(In reply to comment #5) > This is likely a duplicate of Bug 511075. How come? this has been fixed in 3.6.2, Bug 511075 isn't fixed at all. feel free to find a progression range on 1.9.2 branch and post the changeset range here.
I've noticed the scrollbars don't work in CKeditor which uses an iframe for it's wysiwyg text editor. At least I know it doesn't work using FF 4.0 beta 6 on Windows XP with http://ckeditor.com/demo being one example. Though I'm not sure if this is a similar bug to this or not.

Reporter, can you still reproduce using a current version? If no, please set status to RESOLVED and resolution to WORKSFORME. If yes, please provide updated information.

I do not think it's exactly the same problem, but in many cases, the scroll (2 finguers touch gesture) in divs (horizontal and vertical) does not work. For example, Apps Screenshots scroll view on Apple store detail pages : http://itunes.apple.com/fr/app/atlas-du-monde/id489221652?mt=8 Firefox aurora 24.0a2 (2013-07-08) on Macbook pro and OSX 10.8.4
(In reply to mikhael.turki from comment #9) That is other problem, fill new bug for it, and this is closed per whiteboard
