Probably something went wrong, the js3250.dll file is an essential part of Firefox. Did you try to interrupt the installation ? It's probably best to download a complete copy of Firefox (from <http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html>), save it on your hard disk. Then, instead of upgrading the old one, uninstall Firefox first (in Control Panel-> Add & Remove Programs) and then install the new one. During uninstall it will ask if your profile can be removed too (which is your bookmarks and cookies and add-ons), obviously don't that (they won't be deleted by default). The new Firefox will automatically find and use them.
Hi Jo Hermans, i followed your instructions and IT WORKED! I cannot describe how grateful I am to you for helping me out of this unpleasant situation! Greetings, Johann
