To reduce filesystem IO, binary components in extensions should be able to be included in a JAR. more discussion in bug 533038. see also omnijar: bug 552121.

I'm not sure if this is possible. If it is, it's not easy. The current set of omnijar patches do not read binary components from jars.
binary components in add-ons are no longer supported.
