Comment on attachment 433144 [details] arubapec.it.pop3 ><clientConfig> > <emailProvider id="arubapec.it"> > <domain>pec.it</domain> > <domain>mypec.eu</domain> > <domain>gigapec.it</domain> > <domain>ingpec.eu</domain> > <domain>arubapec.it</domain> > > <displayName>Aruba PEC</displayName> > <displayShortName>arubapec.it</displayShortName> > > <incomingServer type="pop3"> > <hostname>pop3s.pec.aruba.it</hostname> > <port>993</port> > <socketType>SSL</socketType> > <username>%EMAILADDRESS%</username> > <authentication>plain</authentication> > </incomingServer> It looks like they also offer IMAP on port 995, so we should have that be the main config, and put POP3 in a comment. Other than that, I like it, so I'll give you the r+, as long as you ask BenB for the second review. Oh, and it should _really_ be a diff so that we don't forget to add all the files that we need to. Thanks, Blake.

<displayShortName>arubapec.it</displayShortName> Please do not use domain names as display short name. If we wanted the domain as short name, we could just use the domain or ID. We want a proper, nice name. "Aruba" sounds good? Apart from that, looks good. r=BenB with that change. I'll commit once you replied.

(Just say whether "Aruba" is OK, I'll make the change)

DNS MX and WHOIS all check out OK, with the following exception: gigapec.it is not registered by Aruba Pec, but exentrica Srl (Aruba Pec is the registrar, but not the registrant). However, DNS MX also points to mx.pec.aruba.it like all the others.

arubapec.it (v2)
Thanks.
Changed display name. Also moved POP outside IMAP and removed tabs.
Commited as Revision 64714

Hi :BenB I retested my configurations on my Linux box: for this case, I see that after autoconfig as ended his work (fine find good imap settings), if I change to pop "Mail account" wizard propose pop3.pec.aruba.it instead of pop3s.pec.aruba.it and port 110 instead of 993 and no secure SSL as is set in landed arubapec.it. Why this? It is my mistake on configuration file? ;-)

(specifically, your POP3 config is commented out so far, because it's only possible in v1.1 of the format.)
