User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_2; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.22.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Safari/531.22.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 When following Ogg links in OS X 10.6.2, Firefox does not know how to play them and only downloads them. http://2009.r2.co.nz/20100118/50350.ogm Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Find link to an Ogg Theora file 2. Click Actual Results: Asks if the file should be saved. Expected Results: The video should play either inline or launch a helper application to play. Ogg Vorbis plays fine.
The data is returned as text/plain MIME-type, which is wrong. Firefox doesn't know what to do with them, it doesn't use the file-extension (.ogm would have been wrong anyway). http://wiki.xiph.org/MIME_Types_and_File_Extensions
Ok. Sorry, I should have caught that . I'll contact the site about it.
