User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080903 BonEcho/2.0.0.16 Build Identifier: Your Bugzilla for FF I don't file many bugs with Mozilla. Had trouble remembering UID/PW. I finally stumbled on what seemed to be my UID (or maybe somebody elses?), paulrogers, and >24hrs later there is still no email to paulgrogers@lycos.com None of the most likely variants of my name were recognized, so I guess that was me. Bugzilla tells me what email address it has for me, but it won't give me a clue about my UID, so I can login. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Ask for a new password assignment 2. 3. Actual Results: Silence Expected Results: email
No idea which UID you are talking about as you log in with your email address. And you seem to know your password as you filed this bug. There is no issue with Bugzilla here.

That's because FF is keeping me logged in, or logging me in automagically. It says it's still using an ancient email address, paul.rogers@juno.com, that I changed to paulgrogers@lycos.com ("Log out paulgrogers@lycos.com"). Now I get these emails at lycos, but FF says I'm still at Juno. If I lose the login cookie, say by logging out, I don't know which to login as anymore, and I asked for a password reassignment that I still haven't received, either at Juno or Lycos. I have no idea what my password is now. I'm confused by your login page asking for a "UID", and not an email address. If I signed-up with a UID, I forgot what it is. It seems like "paulrogers" works for that. There's an inconsistency here.

The login form asks for an email address. If Firefox logs you automatically, then this means your password is in the Password list of Firefox, which you can look at to change your password. And as you are logged in, to change your password you must go here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=account.

(In reply to comment #3) > then this means your password is in the Password list of Firefox, which you can > look at to change your password. I meant "look at to *know* your password".
You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
